Incubator help

Well that was another reason for our failure.lol.we put eggs upside down.we r using a forced air not sure though with auto turners and we incubate eggs within 7 days last batch, but 1st batch was done in 4 days.So do we need to incubate date of laying for sucess or do within 3 days of laying?Wow!did not know incubating was so difficult...lol

It really isn't that hard. If you worry about every little thing you hear or read on internet it can seem terribly hard!! I don't like turners, I bought 1 used it about 3 times then stuck it in a closet, I prefer a more hands on method! and before you say you don't have time for that LOL I don't either!! I am alittle unconventional. They say you MUST turn eggs 3 times a day, not true. I work 65 hrs a week, I turn eggs at 5am before I leave and then again at 6-9pm when I return. I have done it this way for years and have a 98% hatch rate.

Think of yourself as the hen as someone else said previously.
