I am having a hard time keeping the humidity inside my BROWER circular incubator 2005 model. It raises to 55% then drops to 30% pretty quick...I cannot keep adding hot water to it, I have stuff to do! I have been in the house for days watching the humidity and I am pretty sure I have developed anxiety because of it..... :( and yes...the plugs are in . . .

Also looking for suggestions for a TOP NOTCH incubator with accurate hygrometer and thermometer - something that is plug in and play, has easily accessible trays from the outside to add water, and is totally clear so I can see almost all the eggs inside it. Must rotate the eggs automatically. I think this BROWER machine needs a trip to the dump.

I incubate in a cabinet incubator and hatch in my styrofoam incubators.

This might fit the bill

...tho no incubator is fully 'plug n play'.

I just got one of these Browers as well. I cannot get the humidity up above 30% and we are getting too close to hatch. When you say “yes, the plugs are in”, what are you talking about? This incubator has air holes-are there supposed to be plugs to plug some of them to raise humidity?

I will definitely not buy a NON-Styrofoam Incubator ever again. The hard plastic Brower is very inconsistent holding humidity. The ONLY thing that worked for me - was a small bathroom, hot water in the tub - and hot water through a funnel inserted into a straw, then insert into one of the "plug holes (little bits of hot water every 2 hours - can't fill it too much or it leaks into the motor below UGH!) (VENTS) down into the chambers below to create steam (KEEP BATHROOM DOOR CLOSED - GET IN AND GET OUT).... Then I would be lucky if it would stay at 65% for 1 hour, then drop to 50% then stay at 50% then the following day back down to 35% - then I would have to repeat this all over again. I am ok with looking after my eggs, but this sure was ridiculous. I have attached some photos to show you the JimmyRigged Setup and what I had to do...
