Incubator idea

I want to build a small bator. I was in the pet store the other day and saw the heaters for the reptile environments. Would one of these in a box work? To me, it seemed more fine tunable that a light bulb or two.

mmm...I've never thought of that. I'm building a homemade bator right now with a thermostat, fan, light, etc...I have to wire it all together before it's done. Maybe one of those heaters would make it easier instead of wiring everything? It depends on the range of temps. a heater would have and how steady it is, etc.
Maybe you should try it.

What a great idea

Good luck with making your own bator. I made mine and it took me days to get it perfect and lots of research. Im using a 60 watt bulb as I didnt want to spend loads of money, as I can get carried away. Let us all know how you get on. Its always interesting to see how other people do things
