I have/had quite a few turkey eggs in my incubator. I have been having a hard time getting it to 75% humidity. 60 is the most it will go. I just found out this morning it leaks out most of the water I put in. I have poults internally pipping then shrink wrapping. TWO have made it to external pip. One of those two has been at least 24 hours but probably more. When/how do I help if I need to? What are some options?

Use a sponge or two to increase humidity. It won't leak out that way.

I did do this but it didn't seem to help, it kept drying out quick. It did go up to 70 when 2 poults were in there.

I basically lost all my eggs except 2. I helped them out and as I was helping, I could see that the membrane was starting to shrink wrap. So it's probably good I helped. So we have 2 little poults. I'm going to look into another incubator though. If I do use this one, I think I might try a long tray of water on top where the eggs sit and cover it with hardware cloth where they can't fall in. Maybe that will help.

Sorry for your losses! Sounds like you have a good future plans.

LOL If you know where your bator is leaking from you can fix it. Only time I use a sponge is in a cup of water let it stick half way out the cup and it acts like a wick. I got a small plastic tupperware with plastic lid and cut a slit in the lid big enough to hold a strip of sponge . That way chicks cant fall in and water wicks out.
