Will light damage fertilized eggs ? I want to hatch them but not sure if lights need s to be on top of eggs or side of eggs for heat

. Is there a website what good eggs looks like on 8th day ?

Are you using an incubator? Many people if it is a homemade incubator also put a fan in to circulate the heated air.

Here is a thread with egg progression candling pictures

This is my homemade incubator/hatcher.

How do you like your thermometer/hygrometer? I was wanting to get one, the one I have at the moment is bad. I have a Springfield "walmart" thermometer.

I love it and i did do the calibration test and it is right on the button. It's made by Fall Harvest. The temp on the Acurite thermometer is 99.5 in the incubator and 100.6 above the bulb.

I think I am going to order one of those. I tried to calibrate my Springfield thermometer and my glass thermometer to calibrate it must have been cracked, because it was completely off by a lot.

its an homemade incubator, Just not sure where lights go ! The tenth day eggs is that good? its kind of what mine looks like. maybe a little darker.

after looking at the video, do they all move around ? I dont think mine is moving like yours. I am guessing my eggs are not good and will have to try again soon,
