Incubator or not?

Black rubbermaid tub. For small batches.

I use 8 ft stock tanks. But I hatch a lot.

I had 6 hatch last week used a small indoor guinea pig cage worked fine

Holy crap!! 8 ft tanks? I guess you do. Maybe next year I'll be doing the same thing. If I could have a rooster chicken, I'd breed tons of them probably.

Honestly, I don't even know if i could handle the crowing, lol.
Ya get used to it and before you know it, you love it!
Some of my morning line up...bunch of roos, they're freezer bound in the spring, shhhh they don't know yet!
And that's not all of em, the rest we're on they way to the barn...lol
Sorry they're blurry...

Well, I'm not much of a morning person. The wife gets up around 4-4:30 all the time.
Don't you have a problem with hawks or cats even? It is nice to see that your yard is as green as mine though, lol

Nice looking flock.

I'm more into Turkey's than anything. Looks like you have some bronze and a bourbon red or bourbon buff.

Do you hatch those as well

We have several big dogs and little dogs, a bunch of cats...we live in the woods and don't even see the occasional squirrel..lol
None of my dogs or cats bother chickens or chicks, and run anything else that shows up, off.
We have a few patches of green here and there in the summer but not much. Heck, even the pony has learned to brows with the goats..lol
