Incubator or not?

I have a question....do y'all think a broody silkie would set a clutch of quail eggs? Would it be safe? (Ok that's 2 questions)
The chicks could be taken after they hatch, not sure if the silkie could raise them..
I'm just curious....

I like to hatch my own eggs so that I can keep rotating them for butchering. I have two to keep them going.

I started with tabletop incubators. But have expanded to cabinets.

Incubating is a little addicting.

Set my first batch of the year.
500 quail eggs.

Definitely addicting....
