incubator problem

hi all
ive made my own incubator from a plastic tote box its situated in my bedroom,during the daytime the temp is 37.5 and humidity is between 45-50....But first thing in the morning when i check it the temp has dropped over night to about 26 and humidity to about 30 what am i doing wrong...Please help its doing my head in

The box you are using probably isn't insulated well enough. I would either get something more insulated or keep the house temp m uch more stable.

but make sure they still have air.

I took mine which is a mini fridge and just drilled a few holes in the two sides for air.
