I have hatched a clutch under a broody, and now making a foray into the incubation world...so my question is does the incubator air have to be at 99.5 or does the egg have to be that temp?

I have three thermometers going, the one that came with my Little Giant, one that does temp/humidity from Pet Smart, and a long grill thermometer. Each one has a different temp, the only two that calibrate are the LG one and the Pet Smart one. I have 27 eggs in there now and I do not want to loose them...

Any help/advice is greatly appreciated.

just hatched 56 of 70. other eggs were bad but 2. temp was a little high several times i looked, just started hatching a little early

Thanks! I just chucked 3 eggs today that were grody and leaking. I had a few porous ones that I wondered if they would make it. What else should I look for in "bad eggs"?
