incubator question ???

here they are the day after hatching

Well, I took my eggs out of the turner last night and put them in "lockdown", approximately 7PM was their 18 day mark, and by 8:30 this morning I already have an external pip! 18 and a half days, this one must be in a hurry!

mine started the night of 19 day 20

4 pips, one of which is partially zipped, day 19 right now almost to the exact minute.

As of now I have 2 hatched one from one of the brown eggs that was pipped and one from a green egg that I hadn't seen a pip on, the first egg which was pipped this morning and is partially zipped, maybe a half an inch still hasn't hatched, I figured that would have been the first one, hopefully nothing is wrong with it. Both chicks look black, they are still wet so hard to tell what they will look like, I have a NH rooster, a BR rooster, and a Sicilian Buttercup rooster with EE, NH, BR, WR, SLW, Light Brahma, BA hens, it will be interesting to see what they come out as, bunch of mutts lol.

I'm up to 9 chicks early on day 20, they seem to be taking a long time to dry off and fluff up in the incubator, the humidity is very high with all the hatching going on the glass has a lot of moisture hanging on it still.

I have 26 chicks from my hatch 11 eggs in the incubator just in case they're still viable but I think they're dead as I can't hear anything out of them, I will give them a day or 2 then toss them. I figure about 66% hatch rate as it sits right now with this hatch, better if more hatch obviously. I will have to figure out how to upload pictures.
