for the humidity it says:
As a general guide for poultry/game/waterfowl maintain water in one of the two water pots from the time
eggs are set until 2 days before hatching is due - the depth of water doesn’t matter.
For all species ensure the water level is above the divider between the two pots for the last two days of
incubation. Higher humidity levels are needed for hatching to prevent membranes drying too quickly. Fit
the water pot guard to prevent chicks drowning.
The above guidelines make no provision for different ambient conditions and are necessarily rather
generalised but they are simple and often effective.
In all cases the humidity for hatching needs to be high. Because of the short duration involved
water/weight loss will not be significantly affected. High humidity is necessary to prevent membranes
drying and hardening before the hatch fully emerges. Humidity will naturally increase as the first eggs
begin to hatch and internal membranes begin to dry. This effect is in addition to the increased area of
water evaporation from the water pots.
During hatching the high humidity levels will fall dramatically when the lid is opened and will take some
time to build up. Resist the temptation to lift the lid frequently – leave for at least 6 hours between
inspections.
which i think is pretty simple, through hatching just make sure the water pot is filled with some water, dosen't matter how much just some, then on the last two days keep the water pot full

theres abit i don't get if anyone can help?

but then it says "For all species ensure the water level is above the divider between the two pots for the last two days of incubation."
so do you fill both pots or one?! and what is the devider?!

This is where they recommending weighing the eggs during incubation, they should lose weight if your humidity is correct. There are some pretty good tips on the forum about this too. The "pot" is in the center of the incubator and it is separated into two that is the divider and the walls of the pot are a little higher than the pot so during the last days of hatch you should fill that up so that the water level is over that divder, producing a higher humidity level.

by the last days of hatch do you mean 3 or 2 days? also doea it mean you have to start using 2 pots on the last days? and only 1 on the days before that?

It would depend on your humidity if you use one pot or two pots or none at all during the first part. This is why they recommend weighing the eggs so you know if you need more water/less water, etc. They recommend filling both pots for lockdown because you want the higher humidity then.

Ok Im hatching ducks out first so its 18 days incubation, if i kept one pot full and checked it every 3 days like it says to on the booklet (like it says to check the water pots every three days) then on days 25 to day 28 fill both pots up to the top, do you think that would work?

I don't know how different ducks are from chicks for hatching eggs, but if you post over in the duck part of the forum maybe some duck experts can chime in on the differences. I think duck eggs need to be turned more often (?) but again, I've been researching chicken eggs.

I don't understand it, i will try posting in the duck section
