Incubator says day 3 when it’s set to be day 5?? Egg turner shut off early will the eggs be okay?

I’m using a brand new kebonnixs incubator I just bought and while I set it by hand to have one more day than the pre-set amount of days (because I ran it without eggs for 24 hours as a test) it’s still acting as if I didn’t add a day and saying there’s 3 days left. But when I go to change it, the “edit the amount of days” screen shows it’s set to 5 days left…well that is what it’s supposed to be. Why isn’t it locking in? It’s saving what I put without doing it. The egg turner stopped working a day and a half early…will the eggs be okay? I’m especially worried about the two eggs I snuck in 5 days late to replace some bad ones. Help?
