Oh and I was planning on hatching with you guys anyways! I thought we had agreed on it earlier! I have them all pointy side up now and haven't turned the ones from yesterday. If I start turning them now will I be ok?? Also do I turn them from pointy side down to pointy side up??

I thought you should store them pointy side down...Not up? My eggs turned instructions state to put the eggs in pointy side down so I dont think it would be any different.....??????

Its here....its here!!!!

Okay problem!!!! I talked to a friend who is pretty seasoned at this whole incubator thingy and she said that I need to run my bator dry for at least 24 hours to make sure I have the temp regulated. That will almost make it impossible for me to set them Friday. I could possibly do Saturday but I would really like to do it on a Friday. Uggghhh I don't know what to do.

Glad your poochies woke you up!!!

Realisticly you can run them for 6-8 hours I'm told. I ran my LG for 3 days and it didnt make a single difference.

You are probably right! BUT... While I am excited to get this started I am also the kind of person who needs to make sure everything is correct and layed out okay!! If something were to happen to the eggs or chicks I would never be able to live with myself. I would second guess myself forever. I am a horrible worry wart!!! God help me when my girls become teenagers and start driving!!!!

The brinsea instructions say : Allow the incubator to run for at least 1 hour to stabilise the temperature before setting eggs

If you want to wait thats fine. I worry to but I am sure my eggs will be fine. I have my brinsea all put together and took pictures. Posting detailed info in a few.
