Incubator suggestions

I believe so. I just bought mine a couple years ago at tsc. Here's the difference. The new one with the smaller top of supposedly to give a better view. I just don't know if it's better, I've never used one. I have heard the old one is better though from several people.
Old one (the one I have)

Yeah I was quite surprised too. The NR is just superior at holding temp and humidity than the two brinseas I have. Though I like and use them anyway.
Id be curious to see which one works better or if they are the same.
I have the newer one

Thanks for the help guys!

@MGG you and I should do a test to see which one works better! Are you setting eggs for Easter?

I just want to throw out there because I was thinking about a suggestion I heard. It's too late for me but if you do get a new bator save the styrofoam packing. If I remember mine right it would have made a great insulator so I didn't have to wrap a towel around mine. If you keep your house temperature steady you don't need it. But this time of year we keep our windows open so our house can fluctuate between 60 and 75 and I find insulating it keeps it much more stable.

Hi all! I’m prepping for my first time hatching eggs (placed a preorder for early spring). Sounds like the nurture 360 and Brinsea get the most recommendations? I have heard the nurture 360 is cheaper but here in Canada it looks like nurture 360 is also over $300?

I’ve also ordered 24 eggs so I’m concerned about not having enough spots for them if I luck out and all are viable when they arrive. Thanks!

I did the nurture right 360 and it worked well. If I remember correctly it was under $200

Yes I’ve heard a lot of good things about that one and would be more affordable, but it only holds 22 and I’ve ordered 24, this is my only concern. Could I make it work somehow?
Yes. You can stack the extras in there, but watch the turner to see if it's turning them. I did that once and had about six extra silkie eggs in there that struggled to turn, so hand turned them for six days, candled them, and it so happened I only had one extra one after that. One extra egg in the middle was turning with the rest of them albeit not as much as they were.

I got more eggs than I had space and I stuck them in and manually turned them. I had no issues with them hatching either

I have the nuture right 360 and i think you could fit 24 just watch the turner.
Good luck with your hatch!
