Brooder is filling up. I gave the newbies a loft so they don't get messed with by the bigger kids,,,,,day older kids

Just took a break and went outside,came in 20 minutes later to a new hatched Turkey. Never peeped or anything. I'm calling him Bamm.

The 26TH!!!!! WOW, I've had them hatch a day or so early or late, but your talking over a week! Are you sure you counted your days correctly or skipped a week on the calendar by accident?

What kind of incubator do you use

Yea , I counted terribly. The three hens were sitting on eggs and I just thought that the were freshly layed .I also went to Public School in Florida so the counting could have been my fault too. I'm running a Hova Bator 1602n and 1611 egg turner . I have a fan to install in it but I haven't yet. I'm having such a good hatch right now I can't believe it. First time too. Just picked the rig up on e bay because I was tired of paying 10-15 bucks for baby turkeys. It's been hard because a couple have been born with FOS (flip over syndrome) where they flop on their backs. I was told to cull them but 2-3 days of righting them ,pedialite, and care they are walking fine with no more flipping over.They are eating and drinking well thanks to a search on BYC resulting in putting marbles in the water and food. I Love this site.What a blessing to be able to post pics of problems and get a diagnosis from someone who has had the same issue..
