Incubator temp problem

Hello everyone!! I need advice from all of you that have incubators out there. I have a farm innovator incubator. I have the newest version and did not have great results my first time using it. I have a digital thermometer inside the incubator that I know is calibrated. The built in themometer reads 101.0 and my themometer reads 97!!! I have tried to increase the temp on the inside using the built in themometer but no matter what I do I can't get the temp up to 99.9. I can't afford to purchase another incubator and there are already eggs in it. Any thoughts or suggestions,besides getting a new incubator,that might help me keep these eggs alive. Thank you!!!

Wrap the incubator in tin foil or a blanket to help up the temp. I’ve been in your shoes before

Put a blanket over the top. My new incabator looses heat and humidity, so I put a blanket over the top.
