I got bad information from someone that incubator temps were ok around 95.5/96 because I couldn’t get it up higher for some reason. My first hatch still has 10 chicks that were active at lockdown, but at day 21 haven’t hatched. Are they all lost, do I give them more time, try to raise the temp a couple degrees?!? I’m so frustrated 😩 also I have a second batch hatching and they’re on day 10 at 95.5 do I raise the temp on them now and if so what’s the best way without shocking their system or are they lost too. All 22 of the second hatch are viable as of today after candling them.
Please be gentle I’m so upset I probably have ruined them!

If you had 10 viable at lock down at 95.5°, then you probably have a couple more days to wait.
I would try to get the temperature between 99.5°-100.5°. Candle them if you must, but keep in mind, 99.5°-100.5° is the optimal temperature. Chickens will hatch even when the temperature is not optimal, but at a reduced hatch rate.
Thank you 🥰 I’m so sick

Today is Day 24 with no hatching or even pipping. We did see some eggs move/ wiggle over the last 2 days, but nothing hatching. What would you do at this point?

Well one has hatched and the others show no signs of pipping. I will let the first one get dry and remove it as long as there is no pipping with the others . Then I’ll candle the others to see if we have a chance. It is moving all around the incubator so maybe it will encourage the others 🥰
