I made an incubator. I have a hot water heater thermostat. To stop the temp swings a little People told me to use a 60w bulb.
I think that work a little bit.
But my temp is still swinging from 102-96

I just want to know if it swinging to 96 is to low of a temp? I've done as much as I can.
will I still have a successful hatch with this temp swing?

Also. I don't have money right now to go buy a wafer thermostat. So i'm stuck with the one I have.

I think you are doing fine. Just remember that a broody hen dose not have a thermostat:)

Thats what I was thinking. I'm sure they don't keep it at the PERFECT temp all the time. Haha

place the stat so the back metal side is close to and facing your light bulb. close as in a couple of inches or closer.
