Incubator temperature not working!!

We haven’t had a problem yet with this incubator. Now it’s saying the temp is 106.5 but it doesn’t feel very warm inside and I can’t I can’t seem to fix the temp. It just won’t go down. Anyone know how to fix this?

What thermometer are you using?
You can open the incubator to get the temp down for now. What day are the eggs on? 106F is really high. I’d be concerned for the eggs.
What incubator are you using? Can we get a picture? They usually have some way to adjust the temp.

This is the incubator. We tried opening it but it’s not dropping, but it also doesn’t feel really warm inside.

Hmm. I don‘t have experience with that particular model, but my Little Giant was never super reliable. I’m not sure if I would count on the thermometer being accurate. Do you have another thermometer you could use to compare?

It should drop if you hold it halfway open for a minute or so. Sometimes my thermometer doesn’t catch on immediately.

I know that @Kiki has a LG incubator and loves hers. This is one of the reasons it's best to have a separate calibrated thermometer and hydrometer in the unit throughout incubation.

Sounds like the sensor, or digital processor is malfunctioning.

While we're waiting for them to arrive, do you have a thermometer that you can calibrate right now and place in the incubator? I don't trust the readout on any incubator, even if it's brand new, but I know we all do things differently
