Incubator Temperature

My temperature is currently at 101.2-101.6 for incubation. I know that it has to be between 99-102 but is this too high anyway? And if so, how can I lower it without turning the temp down because my incubator is old and I don't want to ruin my set temp?

If it's still air and that temp is accurate that's right where you want it. (Temps taken at the top of the eggs.) 101-102 is recommended for still air. FORCED air is 99.5
