My thermometer said it was 108 in the incubator. I changed a few things, and now the new thermometer is reading 100. Do you think the growing chickens will be ok?

Hi :welcome

Glad you could join the flock! 108 is high do you know how long it was at that temp? A short blip in temp should not be a problem but if it was for a prolonged period of time it could certainly be a danger for embryos. Have you calibrated your thermometer? Are sure it's reading correct?
Always best to check before hand to be sure. Once you have it stable again I would candle the eggs to see what is happening in them. Here is an excellent article on incubating with lots of info on how important temps are > :frowhttp://www.backyardchickens.com/a/hatching-eggs-101

Good luck with your eggs I hope you are able to keep your temps steady.

Good morning and welcome to BYC!

I hope your hatch turns out ok even with the temp issue. @Yorkshire coop has given you some good info, I wish you all the luck.

Nice to have you here!
