Incubator thermometer dilemma- which one is right?

I thought the Brinsea spot check is supposed to be factory calibrated, so should be the most reliable.
(someone tell me if this not so as I have just ordered one)

That is there claim.... All medical thermometers are required to be by law. Both can lose calibration in shipping. I usualy trust the medical after checking to see what it says my temp is.
