Incubator to Brooder hen?

Nubee to chickens , was given a flock of 5 Blk Colchin hens, a rooster and now 2 incubator hatched chicks a brooder hen who has 4 chicks under her. My question is, can I place the 2 incubator chicks under the brooding hen, will they be accepted?

The hen already has chicks? What's the age difference?
I tried it once, with only a day or two age difference, but the hen wasn't interested in the new one. Mind you, I only left it in there for about 10 minutes.

Be prepared to place incubator hatched under broody this evening. You will have to evaluate on site to determine if she will take them.

Thank you for the answers The chicks were born same day as brooder hen hatched her first egg, they are 3 days old. I will try to put them with the brooder tomorrow night.

Check closely as the birds wake up to make certain all is well.

Good point, I agree. Forgot I got up just about every hour to check on things. It was a nutty night but well worth it.

Be checking now just as rooster comes off roost. That is when chicks start peeping heads out from under hen.
