When I first started incubating I had a lot of trouble with the guineas. They were not quite as easy as chickens and a bit more temperamental when it comes to humidity. I know these eggs were a bit old and weathered but I would have expected them to quit sooner if that was the only factor. I have some more in the other incubator that are due on the 30th and I candled them today. I had several infertiles but I think those must be from the hen that just started laying again after raising a keet (she had four but only one survived their ventures into the corn fields). I am about to collect another batch and set them and I think I will move the incubator back into the closet as that is where I kept it last year and I had very good hatches.
Were the eggs from your own birds or shipped?
