I think this might be the correct place if not, feel free to move.
I'm building a larger incubator out of an old dorm fridge. I'm using a wafer thermostat and a 25-watt heating element.
Here's how I have it wired:
(the blue wire from the heating element is connected to the blue wire on the thermostat. The hot is connected to the white on the thermostat. The neutral is connected to the black on the heating element.)
It seems to be heating but I wanted to make sure I didn't do it backwards, and have the heating element before the thermostat.
Any suggestions would be helpful.
Thanks!
Bil
