What is a good incubator to use? It will be my very first time trying to hatch chicken eggs and i want a good incubator but im not sure where to even begin besides Amazon.

How many eggs are you hatching? What is your price range? The Nurture Right 360 and the Incuview are the 2 top forced air ones, a good styrofoam one is the Hovabator. I would highly reccomend the Nurture Right 360, it is the best imo, and it is very reasonably priced. You get what you pay for when it comes to incubators.

i like the Nature Right 360 and the IncuVeiw from incubator warehouse.

the 360 has a set and go type of thing. Plus it rotates the eggs every two hours in a circle. Has a great viewing area.

the IncuView has a full view top. Holds temp well and I like the mesh on the bottom. It also has no auto turner that you can change the number of times a day you want them turned.

No auto turner? I've been researching incubators lately too as I'd love to upgrade to a slightly bigger better one than my Janoel 12. I'm going to go with the NR 360 I think, but I've been interested in the incuview too. What one would you reccomend the most? I mostly hatch ducks but I'm planning on doing a lot of quail in the near future. Can you change the number of turns in the NR? Edit : also, does it hold temp pretty well? Hot spots? Cold spots?

Both hold temp pretty well. You can’t adjust the NR 360 turn right. The IncuView turner you can adjust. To adjust the humidity and keel it were I have wanted it I have had to add water twice a day just small amounts because I am trying to not let it get away from 35% to badly.

So the NR automatically turns? It turns in just one direction, like spins them kinda? Thanks in advance

Why do you have to turn them? To help with heat or something?

So the embryo doesnt adhere to the shell. It's very important in the first week. It's best to get at auto turner imo so you don't forget. I always forget
