Good News, I think.

I have run out of EE chicks. I need at least 15 new hens for next year, I have ZERO EE chicks!

I went to sell 3 tonight and I only had 1. Shocked me.


My incubator is full, I am using the other as a hatcher. I might have to get a 3rd incubator.

I need to start collecting EE eggs. I have 2 dozen turkey eggs from Porter's coming. It could be months before I get to shut the incubators down.
 
That is an AWESOME problem to have!! Congrats on selling all of them. I'm slowly selling chicks, but I"m having trouble letting them go....

So how many guinea eggs do you have in the incubator?

I doubt it but they would definitely fit in trays made for bantam eggs. Most of mine are stuck in the turkey trays. I only have 75 guinea eggs in but it is a batch of 23 and one of 52. Today was the first day that I collected an egg from each of my six hens.

Wow Ralph, you must have one heck of a customer base! I'm dragging my butt to a swap this weekend and next weekend to try to get rid of the rest of mine. I have CCL hatching this weekend and next weekend and I need room lol. We have a rural king nearby now that overloaded themselves with chicks and poults a month or two ago and was selling everything for a dollar. I think everyone within an hours went there to load up.

I hatched 3 palms. 19 wellsummers. And if they count my broody bourbons have hatched at least 7 new babies. In the last few days.

Have 9 turkeys eggs on lockdown as of last night.

Still have 43 eggs cooking in 1 incubator. Guinea, chicken, and turkey.

Very staggered hatch in their.

Thank goodness for hatch a batch app.
 
Thanks! Congratulations on your hatches too :) I honestly don't know for sure how many I have in my bator but there are multiple hatches. I forgot to set my turkey eggs on Friday. If I get to it, I'll set them tonight but if not, I'll wait until next Friday and save them up. I had to stop setting chicken eggs. I'm out of brooder space lol. Looks like I'm going to have quite a few extra cockerels to put in the freezer in a couple months.
