My Turkey/Chicken eggs go into lockdown tomorrow night! I have my brooder ready and yes it' a old car carrier! Every year I would look for a big box.This works so much better! Now all I need is a couple boxes of cigars to hand out! It's a boy! It's a girl!

I would only hand out pink cigars until I was proven wrong

Just finished my 5th hatch in the Octagon 20. Man, I love this machine. 20/22 cuckoo marans. Washed it down this morning, letting it dry while I'm at work, and setting 2 dozen WCBP tonight. I think I need an intervention

Thank you! It is light weight. It comes apart in two pieces so you can store them with less room. I take it apart and wash them outside with a long handled car brush soap bleach and hose them off. My husband cut the hole with a circular saw! It cut like butter! Works great and no one wants the old ones!

That is awesome. I repurposed a baby bath into the ducks swimming pool
Sunday I am going to repurpose some baby crib parts into my garden for the climbing vegetables.

I need to find more eggs to hatch though this experience has been great. But, not until after my Ancona Duck eggs hatch hopefully this weekend. Today is supposed to be hatch day but there is yet to be a pip.

4/4 of my goose eggs hatch.

Sunday I am going to repurpose some baby crib parts into my garden for the climbing vegetables.

Well 2 days ago I was down to only about 2 dozen eggs in my incubator. I've already maxed out my lyon, have enough eggs sitting on my counter to max out my backup bator, and now have 10+ on the way because I couldn't stand to pass up splash ameracaunas again. Oh yeah and I was looking into some gorgeous Cochin eggs too. I have GOT to quit looking at the auction threads

I have the same problem. I have figured out that by building a hatcher I can just cycle eggs through the incubator on a weekly basis. New fluffy butts every week!

Has worked great for about 3 weeks! Until tonight when I figured out how to get even more eggs in my homemade cooler bator

. I really think I have a problem lol, so does my DW! I just really like hatching these little buggers out and passing on my love of backyard chickens to others! I currently have 152 eggs in my bater and 2 dozen in the hatcher set to hatch this weekend. Did i mention it is a homemade bator? I have $8 cost put into it!
