your lucky if you have any DIS they haven't given off a pong or exploded yet

So excited. DH had ordered me chicken and duck eggs at the same time not knowing ducks take an extra week. So last Saturday, we hatched 18 chicks and while they were hatching, they played kick ball with the poor duck eggs. I was really worried about that. After the chicks were removed and I did a quick clean up, I replaced my turner and lowered the humidity again. So, I wasn't expecting them to survive....well, I candled them tonight and see life in 4 of the 5 eggs...but the 5th egg was as far along as the others, so hopefully, it was just asleep! Anyway, they are now in lockdown! Yea!

you may be lucky as if your humidity was set for chicken to remove 13%

then at lockdown upped the humidity the Ducks would have caught up as they need 14% loss

so you may just be lucky

especially as you stopped turning
