put the eggs back in the bator and dont candle to day 7 - 10I have 41 eggs in my bator at the moment. 39 of which are shipped and 2 from my bantys. The EE banty egg is doing well at day 5.The other as far as I can tell isn't fertile but I'll give it a bit longer. Now the shipped eggs...I'm only seeing life in about half of them but they range from day 4-5. How long do you all give shipped eggs before tossing? I won't throw anything out if I think there's even a chance of it developing but I don't want to come home to find an exploded egg in the bator either.
I usually give at least 10 days if not 14 before I toss anything. I'm so excited that I actually saw a heartbeat in one of my Ams this morning but that has me wondering about the rest that don't seem to be as far along. Thoughts? Oh and to continue my addiction I'll be picking up 6 chicks from Meyer tomorrow.
1 blue cochin, 1 dark cornish, 1 light brahma, 2 gold laced polish and 1 meyer meal maker. (Who I'm REALLY hoping won't be a Roo).![]()
yep I know its hard to wait.. but if you wait till day 7 or 10 you are gonna see so much more! I did the same thing... candling at day 4 with a magnifying glass hoping to see SOMETHING!I have 41 eggs in my bator at the moment. 39 of which are shipped and 2 from my bantys. yes like ozepat says... 10 days is good. These are my first and I was disappointed on day 7 when I could see nothing. Day 10 however I did see swimmers and veins! well now its getting where its dark in there and not much to see.. they are growing. Hoping they all make it out alive
