Hi sonderah, I was wondering where you purchased your Hovabator and was it a circulated air ?Do you know if any egg turner would fit?Please let me know how your hatch turns out! Thank you so much for the info!

That is the one I purchased from. My 1st hatch in it is due in 1 week. I did day 14 candle today and had movement in 21 of the 22 fertile eggs I set!

Oh I forgot. They sell a auto turner for it. Or the Little Giant auto turners at TSC will also fit.

Thank you so much for all the info.Hope you will post pictures of the chicks when they hatch.I'm so excited for you and can't wait till next year to hatch my own.I would hatch some this year but I will be having surgery on my shoulder probably in July.I am going to buy my incubator soon and have it ready for next year.

I will post pics for sure. I'm annoyingly excited about all my chickens. Lol I CANNOT wait for my Silkies to lay!! I wanna hatch my own sizzles!!! Lol Good luck with ur surgery!!

Just got my leave for Monday approved! Am I crazy for taking the day off so I can stay up Sunday night to watch them hatch and hopefully play with chicks Monday?

Why is it considered crazy to take a day off from work to do what you love to do??? Life is too short to spend every day working, and denying the occasional simple pleasure in life.

I had to show another picture of my babies. I took this this morning. The light ones with spots and total white one and the black with white spots on head are Super Blue Egg Layers from DMRippy. Some of the black ones without the spots are from her Olive eggers and one of the gray ones also. I have have some of mine in there and they are gray and black and the big buff one. The little gray one on the bottom someone pooed on and she is not really feeling good. She had a protruding naval area. It have receded but she just isn't up to par. one had trouble with its leg but I gave it a leg massage and took the paper off the shavings and she is getting along better now. I love watching them grow and changing.

oh goody I hear peeping coming from the incubator!!! we have Lav Orps, Marans and a couple of Olive Eggers this week !!
