WHO IS GETTING READY FOR SPRING?????

I have an order for 18 SBEL chicks and I have been told that some people are already selling chicks and can't keep up SOOOOO I am setting ALL of my Sex linked Marans and Sex linked EE and some cuckoos too.... I am about to put 90 eggs in I have not done that is many months. Lets hope they sale quickly. I have a few SBEL I set for my order (only 6 developed so I had to start over) so 5 hatched today and then I had 3 barred rocks hatch and 1 blue barred rock... I don't need the BR so I am going to sell them too. I need to go through my pens and start pulling all the pullets I can sell. I need to thin down to make more breeding pens. I need to make a Sex link pen with my NH roo x BR.... but they are not laying YET

I think in the next few weeks my eggs are going to really explode. Already I am getting about 30 eggs a day. This year I am a little better prepared for SPRING
A blue barred rock? Do you have any pictures? I haven't seen that yet. I meant to ask, how do you get barred EEs to use in your SL EE?

My Barred EE came from an EE x BSL Roo. They lay a green egg and they are covered by my Lavender AM roo. I need more Barred EE. There were just an accident. I may put a couple of my Lavender Split pullets in with my GSBR to get some barred pullets for next year.

Blue Barred Rocks
These are 2nd and 3rd gen Blue Barred rocks. Every generation the barring gets better in the blues. Not sure why the barring is so hard to get in the blues. It shows up the first gen in blacks. ki4got do you know?

Hello fellow incubator addicts! Sorry I disappeared for a while, been VERY busy putting in pastures and building new breeding pens and coops. So, I have traded in the Brinsea Octagon ECO for a Brinsea OVA 380. The thing is practically echoing but I am filling it up as quick as I can! I have several local farms saving me hatching eggs, wish I knew more people local to me to get it completely filled up!

I'm new to hatching and wondering what kind of incubator you guys would recommend for peafowl chicken and pheasant eggs thanks for any help

Personally, I love Brinsea's products. But I am fiercely loyal and a little biased. (I am mainly biased because my hatch rate has been so phenomenal using them.) but it is a worthy investment if you want to have excellent hatch rates and an easy to use incubator.
