Well I did finally go to bed. This morning 7 are out and the other three are working at it; very possible it's going to be a 100% hatch.

I am in love with this big redwood bator!

3 pipped, and 3 in air cells ALL peeping, the top 3 all have the pips.

I will be happy to see chicks but will miss the pretty eggs! so glad I have pictures!

candled my mix eggs today,6 out of 36 got pitched

Just candled all 23 eggs on day 8 with 13 developing eggs not bad for the first time can't wait until next week to candle again

Four chicks hatched, one more pipped and another is moving around in the shell but hasn't pipped yet. Still watching temps very carefully but haven't had to make any adjustments in a while. Seems to have stabilized, finally!!

candled 60 on day 14, 16 were clear, so 44 likely to go to lockdown on tuesday... i need a bigger hatcher. LOL

the dark freckled one hatched I thought they would all be B&W because the dad is CCM and all other chicks from him are B&W, so far all chicks are B&W but I have one golden buff. The mom was a golden buff and a sister to this chicken

Went into lockdown yesterday, I'm so excited! 5 barnevelders and 5 Plymouth Rocks out of a dozen are coming along good, I really hope they hatch without any fuss!

Forgot to post, but we went into lockdown on Friday, 38 eggs in all 11 didn't develop. This is our first hatch in a long time, we are hoping it goes well.
