On my first attempt I got 50% with eggs that traveled 7500 miles

I have spent a lot of time studying shipping. My belief is most of the damage is done by air pressure changes. The air cell gets damaged by expansion with the plane being pressurized to 10000 feet.

I use foam inserts to protect the eggs. I check them in using a hard sided golf bag - the golf bag will not fit on the conveyor system at LAX and is therefore manually inspected and bypasses the X-Ray screening.

I broke two eggs in transit. Both were still in the original shipping material - not my inserts

My "getting the flock out of here" eggs I shipped to the Philippines and set on Easter Sunday

197 eggs 18 Pekins, the rest Chickens.

That is true dedication. I continue to be in awe

Your ingenuity in getting the eggs over there safely is commendable. Do you not want to bring blue egg layers also? I don't see any blue eggs...
