I disagree on the fan... it keeps the temps more even and circulates fresh air around the eggs. they need to breathe! still air can also become stagnant air IMO.Honestly, I would also take out the fan. But that's just my opinion because I've never used one. It could be doing more harm than good if you're not getting any development.

I'm also surprised your humidity is so low with that much water. Possibly from the fan/openning.
I don't even use water until lockdown and mine stays steady at 50% up until then.
how do you handle keeping the fans clear of fluff, I just had one fan fail so i have to take it apart and see what's up... funny thing though I got 7 of 8 eggs hatched fine onJust stopping n to say we still have not shut down our incubator(sportsman 1502) for now a year, we did shut down the hatcher for cleaning. It will be off for a whole week.
