temps down to 60. Storms calmed down now just rain and little wind

yeah, it's stinky hot down here, was 85 yesterday which for us is a big pain, we wait and wait for the colder weather... even my wheatens and black tailed buff stopped laying.. sheesh...

i know it sounds churlish to complain but actually it does cause problems because many of the fruit crops do need a little cold weather..



Still hatching like crazy.. i just put in a new batch this morning and i have some due out on Jan 2nd...!! woohoo...

i upgraded my styrobators with a digital thermostat and fan. now they are as good as any bator on the consumer market.

my bator has been cold and lonely for a couple of weeks now.... I have to be gone over night a couple times between now and Jan 5 but when I get home I'm going to start collecting some BCM eggs for a test hatch

Bringing the bator in the house today. Im not even going to screw with trying to keep the barn climate controlled for it.
