SLOW that cold snap really knocked their laying upside down. I think I got 4 eggs this week from 3 pullets..... sad really. I knew most would be clear. I have to keep HOPING they will EVENTUALLY be fertile again. My BR have been clear since August or September..... I have a new roo to fix that problem. The Orpingtons are hit and miss... mostly miss.

It is so strange to hear about all the cold weather everywhere. We are usually overcast, cold, and rainy most of January but we had NO rain and it has been warmer than usual. Oh, well. When you are all enjoying the summer, I will be inside when it is >112* outside LOL.

Yeah, I was going to tell you sbel were mostly clear (except 2, yay!) and your 100 BLRW clear, all 50 pen BLRW have veining! Almost everything else is developing, so overall a very good fertility rate!

The bantam cochin eggs did it, they are so tiny and adorable I just want to squeal and roll around in the yard!
They did me in too. Those darned tiny eggs forced me to buy the brinsea eco 20 when it was on sale on Cyber Monday.

I will get you more. That was close to the cold here and I was worried the SBEL might not be back to fertility.... I have not been able to hatch any for weeks to test. Everyone wants them. Same here on the 100 BLRW just tossed all those today. Might need to swap roos around for a week or so to make all fertile. Only one girl in the 100 pen is laying. I will get you more in your next order.

Ha! You know me so well, I will be ordering from you again! I just can't stay away and you have really nice birds!!! I need to be clear tho, I'm not complaining about the eggs not being fertile, I'm just letting you know. I think overall, I see the majority developing. That's always a good thing!
