Dumb me had my incubator in the same room as my wood burner. Had it full open so it got like 106 degrees in that room and in the incubator. It was only for like 10 min tho. Hopefully I didnt cook them.

yesHey guys!! So finally my incubator will be here monday !!! But i have a question, they sent me 40 coturnix quail eggs and my husband wants to hatch them can i set them with my chicken eggs? just set them a few days later and they will hatch together ??
and I am going to try dry hatch, in my house my humidity is sitting at 30 so would a dry hatch be okay??
thanks
about that for hatch - i wait till first chirp then fill the chambers and wipe the inside of the bator with a wet rag. i dont readjust humidity and dont open the batorand humidity needs to be around 70 for hatch correct?
less is more, sit on your hands!!! lolThank you!!!! Sounds great, hope I can do it right
Good advice! I get way to clingy with my eggs and tend to want to help, it never ends up well. I'm trying to learn to leave them alone! It's hard when you have o.c. Tendenciesless is more, sit on your hands!!! lol
take up a hobby for 20 days, paint your house or something
That is right no water till day 18 and do not let others touch your incubator.....
How did your last candling go every thing looking good or what ???????
