Congrats, I noticed a few had some wet on them yet. I wasn't sure if you knew you could leave them in the bator for at least 24 hours without food or water. When I first started hatching I thought you had to take them out right away, now I leave them in until the hatch is done which has lasted sometimes 2 days without a problem.

I'm quite lucky with that as my hubby doesn't touch any of my chickens. I felt the same way when I first started hatching but then realized that they were ok in the bator until the others hatched. Unless it's days apart I just leave them all in.I knew, but, my hubby took them out before I made it home. I keep trying to tell him they will be fine. But, he's worried about all the other eggs, still doing their thing.
I tried to tell him, and when I would come home, no babies in the bator.
If they were all alive at lockdown and do die in the process they won't rot fast enough wreck the rest of the hatch. I've had many die after lockdown and they will be just fine.I think the rest of my rescued clutch are gone?
5 babies hatched over a period of 3 days. With one not making it.
I am leaving all the others in, because my the club I had originally set is in lockdown.
All of these eggs had live babies when they were last candled, on Saturday last week.
What are the chances I'd I have 10 dead babies inside of the eggs that they will contaminate the other eggs?
