Day 21 and no pips yet I've so far never had any hatches that didn't start pipping on day 20, so getting kind of worried.......This is my first batch that went through to day 18 in my Coolerbator.....so idk.

So I got some eggs from a friend and only the bantams were fertile. I've never worked with them and assumed they were the same incubation process as chickens. Well on day 14 1 was pipped and then born that evening. The rest are still alive and in the incubator. He walks on his 'knees' for a lack of a better word. He doesn't bend his ankles much. Is there something wrong with him perhaps? He was born Wednesday evening and could've been under a broody, not sure. Thoughts?

Would give him some vitamins in his water, that seems to help

Yea I found this at my tractor supply co and use it I also use save a chick mix as we'll

11 out and dry 1 lavender orp out have 5 jubilee orps getting ready to come on out 2 already out

I've got 12 out of 17 in the incubator still. Tomorrow is day 21 and I've already got one pip. Trying to keep my humidity up. It likes to fall into the 40s. I've added some sponges. Don't want "shrink wrapped" chicks. Fingers crossed for a good hatch. Going to give the feather sexing a go and see how accurate it is.

That's awesome, unfortanetly for me I one had 1 lavender orp I check the other and they never developed to hatch but the jubilees are come out nice 6 out of 16 so that's good for me kinda wanted more lavenders

If all goes according to plan, I will be setting 12 chicken eggs in my incubator for an attempt at dry hatching. So, what are your set day dos and don'ts?

I normally run my incubator for about a week to make sure temp is good and stable and where I put my incubator won't mess with the temp
