A turkey egg is pipped!

These are shipped eggs.

Pip number #3!

Due date is tomorrow and I'm looking at them like every 5 minutes lol.

I haven't gotten a pip yet, in fact I thought they may have passed away

My husband tries to remind me I thought the same thing the last time we had eggs in the incubator. Well today I saw a very active egg I haven't seen move in a while. No pips, but they still have time.

Had a turkey egg pip yesterday morning, started zipping this morning, about 1/5 of the way around, & just stopped! About 12 hrs later I decided to assist. Popped the too a bit, wrapped in a wet paper towel and put back in. It popped out quickly and I SWEAR!!! I have had week old poults smaller than this sucker!!! No WONDER it couldn't finish. WOW!!

Turkey #2 pushing out of the shell now.

If I get as many turkeys as there are pips, it's going to be a good hatch for shipped eggs.

I have a Brinsea also and it's the best. Just wish they were a little cheaper so I could get a bigger one as it's too small for me. I just bought 2 Sportsmans cabinets lastnight for $650 and have 4 Jamesway industrial bators besides 3 home made ones.
