Or sitting there, doing nothing overnight. Then you wake up in the morning and BAMMO the last of the hatch is doing this:



Making you just want to RIP them out of the egg so they hurry up and finish because fuzzy butts are stumbling around the 'bator waiting,.

You'd think being batted around by their hatchmates would inspire them to break outta that egg!
 
The last little guy is still struggling to get out. I'll post pictures of it when it finally comes out. The rest we managed to squeeze out thanks to high humidity due to the rain. They went to their home earlier, leaving me with two lonely quail once they finally come popping out.
 
HELP! We are having heavy sleet and freezing rain right now. Very likely to have power outages. I just put 18 eggs in lockdown. What can I do if I do lose power?

Do you have a fireplace or wood heater? Or do you have a gas stove? Whatever heat source you have, you could put the incubator next to it after covering it with blankets.
