I woke up to 3 more fuzzies. 1 BLC and 1 CLC and then the last one I'm not sure cuz I haven't opened the box yet. I have 2 more with new pips. I will keep you posted! We are going to hit up the Tractor Supply first though. 20% off toys!

ETA: PS- what does BLC stand for? I don't remember!

the b/lc was black split lavender, meaning it'll be either black or lavender.

the final count is 3 black/lavender (b/lc - i think 2 are actually lavender), 1 calico (cmc), and 4 silver laced (slc)
so 8 isn't bad since i was thinking i might get 4 or 5...

and the last dorking is zipping now (for this bunch LOL then i've got more in the incubator)

I'll trade you the Millie for a CLC. Looks like I have 3 more pipping. Candled a few of the others and they are goners. But they were alive 2 nights ago..... ?....

OK people my cabinet incubator holds 7 1/2 doz eggs... hubby would kill me right now! I will be adding more in a few days and maybe more after that. I don't have my pens done yet!

(sick, weather, holidays etc) If I don't get these guys outside soon or I will not have anywhere to put these new babies!

When the pens are done I will fill that bator, or a new one up! Got to have babies for the spring to sell

i don't remember clc... and the callie is what i wanted most. isn't that the way it goes?

Ok, I came home to one more CLC so I'm up to 7 now. 2 more pipping. What is your total? I can't remember.

(And I'm mad at these 2 Millie eggs... )

are you sure it's clc? i didn't see that as a possibility on her list... cmc - calico/mille or slc - silver laced...

i got 1 calico, 3 black/lav, 4 silver laced. and openned the quitters, they were fully grown, yolk sacs gone, and internally pipped. and that's it.

and that other dorking, danged if she didn't do the same as her sister...

you know the funny thing? those dorking eggs aren't huge, but the cochin eggs were. those chicks are almost as big as the dorkings.

Sold more chicks today! Put 48 eggs in the Hatcher, 48 more in the Bator, and 95 quail eggs in the Bator as well. Those things can lay some eggs! IDK what I will do with them if they all hatch, but we will see.
Bought a load of lumber and more wire. DH is working on a coop for me! That is unusual, I generally build them. But I am always glad to get help. I think I will put EE in one side and white EE in the other side. That will empty out a big grow out pen. Then some of the chickens in the tractors can move to pens. What is hatching, folks?
