First batch on the 19th and the next on the 26th. You can come any time after the 26th as far as I know. I don't mind keeping them if you need to come after the holidays are over... that is kinda what I expected the first of the year.

Lets see... I need some SLW eggs what ever you can collect, I need some Dark Brahmas (just a few 6 at most) and 2 (if you have them) Wheaten Roo chicks with beards and muffs please. I need a back up roo.... I think I am going to have to put one of my Marans Roos that was for breeding down. I have to check him out really well today. So now I know I want backups..... like I have room for 2 of every roo I need for breeding....

Ok.... I will let you have the roo I got and I will pick one up at a show in the next few weeks or months. They are the younger birds anyway and not laying. 21-22 weeks I think.

I hope you are as excited as I am! I have been told that these are really nice birds and are DIRECTLY from Shaffer! and Blehm and Smith.... I can't remember now. I will give you all the info I have. How many Lav Roos do you want 1 or 2? we have 3 to pick from.

I hope just a check up. 2 works for me too.... I think one will work in my pens and then there are the eggs that will be hatched

There is a pos roo in my chicks

that would be great he will be unrelated to any of my chicks, well most of them anyway.

Not a check up. I have bad IBS and my guts are way backed up. So not cool. It kills me to bend over. Anyway, I did get the new coop divider in, the roof is on, cut the last two pieces of the ends and put the tops on the nest boxes. I plan to put two types of Polish , one in each side. Then I need to build the runs and then another coop with runs. And so on... I did move two Light Sussex hens in with the Coronation Rooster, he only had two girls. The other two will go with my Light Sussex roo that has three hens. I have a spare LS roo, and I am going to breed him to a couple of Speckled Sussex hens to try and improve size . Should be interesting.
I am going to put more eggs in the bator. There is a full moon out there, bright and beautiful. Hatch on! Deb

Geez Deb, hope you're feeling much better soon!
Just set 17 BBS Ameraucaunas, 5 Columbia Rocks, 2 Barred Rocks, 4 Golden neck booteds, and a Light Brahma - all bantams! So excited to open these this morning, I wasn't sure exactly what I was getting except the Ameraucaunas! Felt like Christmas morning

Wanted to mix things up a little bit and start a bantam laying flock. Yes, that means I need another coop, but I'm hoping to score another big wooden packing crate at the refuse site again. Just nail on some legs, give it some ventilation pannels, a window and a couple coats of paint and presto!

Try Craigslist. I have seen several shipping crates on there. BIG air freight and smaller perfect for coops! Told hubby the next time I see them we are GOING to get them, even if I don't need them now.

I want some LF Columbian Rocks!
