I don't breed to SOP.... I don't know... I breed for BIG eggs LOL. My roos look really nice... but I think I need to swap the roos, the one I put with the hen is getting beat up. All my WL are very nice and easy to pick up... they really do have a bad rep. My original girls came from a hatchery and the other 3 I bought from someone that breed his hatchery..... so HATCHERY LOL

I will try to get you some pics. My girls legs are pale but the roo is nice and yellow with a nice big straight comb (his is not flopping over)

I have 13 more BLRW developing too

I may have to sell some sooner than I thought.... I have to stop myself from hatching them all.... that would do it, don't you think?

Now if the SLW would do that

I tossed a TON of eggs today. The shipped Cuckoo Marans out of 23 only 10-11 are going. The shipped GNH out of 17 - 7 are going this time. I have not checked the others yet, they are just a few days in so we will see.

OH I forgot... I got a deal on Crested Cream Legbar eggs..... should I sell them or keep them?

I am going to be divorced if I am not careful. I need to PICK my keeper breeds and STOP getting new ones... they are TOO TEMPTING to keep! Ok I can get them anytime, but not at this price.... 10 for a bag of feed LOL.

how the heck did you find that one? That is a steal.....I vote keep them, but I could be biased. That is one of the breeds I have wanted for a long time and finally have...just playing the waiting game now.

Maybe I need to see what they are going to even look like...... see how much research I did!

It was just a gut move. A lady locally had some and she didn't want to eat them and couldn't hatch them and didn't want to deal with shipping either. A bag of feed was her request.... so I bit! Hubby is going to KILL me! I told him I would sell the chicks.... maybe not.

I had a 100% HATCH all the Blue BR eggs hatched and so did my 1 little BLRW

My first BLRW from my Foley birds. I think it is a Splash and a roo, but still it HATCHED

13 more to go in the next couple of weeks

I have a batch of GNH eggs coming, and will set everything I want when they get here and then, I may take a break. Sell some Foley birds eggs and let me catch up a little. If I am not careful I will have more than I can handle through the winter.
