A used GQF cabinet would be your best bet IMO. They are the gold standard for cabinet incubators. Used ones are always in high demand and can be sold quickly if you ever want to get rid of it. The older ones can be found on craigslist for $200-350. Every single part is replaceable and there been making them the same way for decades.

I bought 4 1266s for $1000 and sold two to a friend. Here's mine...

I can't argue with cabinets being top line that is what I have gone to.

But for your price range I had decent luck with the gqf 1588 genesis. Gqf makes good incubators. Keep an eye on eBay there are a few brinsea octagon 20s that pop up that can be had in your range.

I won't bash LG and farm innovator incubators but they have given me less than stellar hatch rates. Take a lot of babysitting them

For that price range, try a RCOM PRO10 plus. Pretty much a turn on and forget. Comes with a pump to control humidity automatically. The unit actually puts itself on lock-down three days prior to hatch and increases humidity. I have had nothing but success with mine. It is small though, perhaps 14-16 pheasant size eggs and 24 quail eggs. I have a small collection of birds and it works out great for me. I've hatched Reeves pheasants, Gambel and coturnix quail, and Barbary partridge in mine. Currently I have Southern Caucus blackneck pheasants in it. performed flawlessly for me so far. It's money well spent.

I found one about 160 miles away. He wants $250 for it. Said it’s a gqf but no model # .
Pics he send me looks like it has drawers with tuners in side each drawer . Would this be a correct model. I didn’t find one on web. ?
Thank you
Henry

Can you post pics he sent.

If it's tan it's probably a 1202.

White would be 1502.

250 is decent priced.
