Incubators

The brinsea octagon advance ex is $587!! Ouch! I was excited when I read your recommendation but disappointed when I saw the cost. Not affordable for a backyard hobbyist just trying out hatching.

Brinsea also do cheaper models. With the advance you can add the humidity pump at a later date so it's not as big a hit in the pocket in one go. I upgraded from a cheaper Chinese model due to erratic behaviour. After a couple more hatches next year the incubator should have paid for itself.
I know they are expensive but they are worth it.

I've never used a Brinsea, but I've had excellent results with GQF incubators. The cabinet incubators are the best, if you want to hatch a lot of eggs at once. Even more pricy than the Brinsea you quoted, but holds 10x the number of eggs.

Next best would be the Genesis, for about $130. Turner and shipping added makes it about $180 from Cutler supply. That's about 1/3 the price of a Brinsea and it holds more eggs.
