For How Long And Were They Room Temp To Start? Or Had They Been In There A Day Or 2 And Gotten Up To Temp Then Went Thru The Spike?

106 Is Considered Lethal Temp, But It Takes Quite A While To Get The Core Temp In The Egg Up--- Thats Why I Ask How Long And What Starting Temp. If It Were Me Rather Than Waste The Eggs I Would Look For Egg Sources And Let These Ride For A Week Or So And Candle The Chicken Eggs To Check For Developemnt... If They Were Duds I'd Scrap The Whole Lot And Start Over, But I Would Give Them A Chance 1st.

ugh..this JUST happened to me

with sad results. The 1st day, my inc rose to around 107-108. I just let it ride the whole month (not quite sure of my candling skills). None hatched. I tossed them in the compost and cracked a bunch and there was no developement at all. I hope you luck out though.

Wow, so I literally JUST looked at my thermo, and it says 107!!!
I hate this stupid still air hovabator, I knew I shouldnt have used it . . .

I gotta rig something up so I can keep the quail eggs on my egg turner and get em in my dyi bator.

I hope I didnt fry these eggs . . .
II checked at about 10am this morning, and it was 101, so its could have been up to 6 hrs its been high . . .
Its day 1 still . . . coturnix eggs

I feel your pain! Lost 120 Georgia Giant hatchlings Saturday before last (day 15). Thunderstorm come rolling in at 4:00 a.m. and took out the power for 12 hours. Didn't have any backup power. At 7:00 a.m., bator temp was 79º, and at 9:00 a.m., it was 69º. I knew there was no salvation, so I tossed them. This was my first (very expensive) try at hatching, so needless to say, I wasn't easy to be around the rest of the day

Oh well, I'm fixin' to try again...........Gonna try 50 GGs along with 50 or so Northern Bobs, which I'm gettin' eggs from now.............
