India blue peahen has rust colored wing feathers?

Ok i was told this means she is a mix? The lady i bought them from had IB and BS... if that helps (100%+ she is a female... has laid eggs)

I've been looking at pics and it doesn't seem like the India Blue hens should have rust-colored flights. One pic I found of a midnight shows rust-colored flight feathers. It would be interesting to find out if the IB are supposed to have them since my pea hen also has rust-colored flight feathers.

ETA: Sorry, I was just looking at my pics and it seems that my pea cock has the rust-colored flights, not the pea hen.

I have 3 IB hens,none of them have rust colored flights.

I have IB split white peahens who have bronze flight feathers.

I may be seeing things, but if you look real close at Vishnu, she has a light rust feather right near her flights. Now D'art has very bright rust colored feathers - he's a bronze. I don't have a pic of him.

O I am so dumb. I see what you all are saying now. You're talking about the solid bronze on the males. Vishnu's bottom feathers are that rusty "partridge" pattern type of coloring.

Don't mind me! I'm having a senior moment!

I was looking at the pic & that's part of D'art in the background & the "rust" suddenly jumped out at me!

You can see the rust color on my male in the middle.

Rust colored flights are normal.

the lady i got them from keeps all her birds togather but said she was 90% sure she was only IB... but others have said nooo?
