Hi all you runner duck owners. I got two cute babies that are now five or six weeks old. I keep them in one of the stalls, at night in a snake proof cage also. They are so wild , what can I do to tame them a little? I try to hand feed, no deal. When I have to put them inside the cage at night they run in a corner and I have to catch them with their little hearts beating like they are going to the death chamber! Talking softly, moving slow doesn't help either.
As soon as they are a bit older I'm turning them into a nice safe area with grass, shade and a kiddie pool for them to swim and play. Any suggestions would be appreciated since I will still have to herd them in at night.
